Customer File Aging

Manual TOC

The purpose of this screen is to let you work with accounts that are delinquent. The screen looks something like this.

Steps for using this screen.

1. Click the Update Amounts button. This will cycle the accounts and create an up to the instant dataset of your accounts.

2. If you want to see all accounts that owe you, just click on Show Results and the accounts will appear in alphabetical order. It is IMPORTANT to remember that the accounts that have valid promise to pays are NOT SHOWN by default (see upper left of screen).

3. Now for the fun stuff. You can screen out for a section (if you have filled in the section box of info page one on an account). Or you can show the 90s+ or the 60s or current and 30s by checking the appropriate box. After each change, to see the results, click on the Show Results box.

4. Now, to work with an account, just click on the line it is on and the account will come up. To get BACK to this screen in a hurry, on the account screen click on View Options, then click on Customer File Aging Screen and you will be right back.

Philosophy of use:
My idea is that the names will keep appearing until you get a valid promise to pay from the customer. The customer will then be gone from the list until they either fulfill the promise or the promise to pay date passes. So let's say, we work the 90s and over and get them down to where nothing appears because we now have valid promises on all those accounts, let's then go to the 60s and start there getting promises to pay.

Your input, as always, is appreciated.
